When adding a holding, the first thing to do is select a Parent Asset Class. This can include Cash, Commodities, Crypto Currencies, Equities, Long Term bonds, Property, short term bonds, and startup or angel investments.

Holding: Add the Name of the holding
Investment Date: Add the date you made the investment
Ticker: Add the Ticker symbol and click away from the field for it to enter
- It can take up to 10 seconds for the symbol to validate. Once you get a green thumbs up you are good to go
- NB: The ticker symbol only works for US Equities and Crypto Currencies
- Once the ticker thumbs up is present the live price will appear at the bottom of the page under 'Market Info'

If the ticker symbol or equity is not in the US, you can add it manually just as easily.
Once you have a current price you can add your position, by adding an 'Asset Transaction'. Fill in details about the quantity of the holding, the price in which you bought it at, the total cost, and the fate of the transaction.
Finally edit the Type by clicking on the cursor logo, this can either be a 'Buy', 'Sell', or 'Dividend'.
Once complete you the holding table will show a summary of the current live value v's what you bought it for.
Then proceed to add a New Record for your next holding.
